Individual Courses
USC CLC Individual Class provides students with more individual listening, speaking, reading and writing practice according to each student's needs and learning purposes. All aspects are oriented to a faster and more efficient learning result from the textbook selection to class design.

Note
All Individual Courses
- Each class is 50 minutes long. Students are required to take at least two class hours per week.
- Students may schedule lessons between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Lessons scheduled between 7:00–9:00 AM or 6:00–10:00 PM are subject to the Premium Chinese rate. This also applies to lessons that partially overlap these time periods (e.g., 8:00–10:00 AM). Lessons are not available between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Once a class schedule has been confirmed, it cannot be changed. If you need to miss a class, please notify us in advance to apply for a leave of absence.
- In the event that the government announces the suspension of work and classes due to a natural disaster or other emergency, scheduled lessons will be cancelled. No make-up classes or refunds will be provided.
Absence Regulations
- Please inform the CLC office of your absence at least one day before the scheduled class. If you plan to be absent, you may not ask another person to attend the class on your behalf. If notice is given on the day of the class, no make-up class will be arranged. For 2-, 3-, or 4-student group classes, an individual student may not reschedule a class independently. Make-up classes must be requested by the entire group.
- If the absence notice is submitted within the stated guidelines, students may arrange a make-up class with their teacher. Students enrolled in regular-rate lessons may only reschedule make-up classes during regular-rate time slots. Students enrolled in Premium Chinese lessons may reschedule make-up classes during either regular-rate or premium-rate time slots. No refunds will be provided in lieu of a make-up class.
- There will be no refunds if a student’s absences exceed the limits specified in these Absence Regulations.
